Title: Retail Store Sales Manager Apply Online

Description:

Increase profitable sales in the store through flawless execution of marketing plans to include implementation of all planned retail store activities. Achieve store sales goals. Build brand awareness and promote company image through partnerships and activities within the community. Conduct sales demonstrations of Sleep Number Beds and Accessories to provide all customers with an exceptional experience. Recruit, hire and maintain a complete qualified staff of sales professionals. Train and develop store personnel. Ensure that all customers are treated with the highest level of customer service. Responsible for controlling expenses to remain within budget guidelines. Ensure continuing employee development of employees through one on one meetings, employee development plans, and encouraging continuing education. Ensure compliance by all store employees of policies and procedures. Work assigned schedule including days, evenings, weekends and Holidays as dictated by the company. Abide to Select Comfort's ethics standards. Keep store neat and clean.

Requirements:

• 2+ years sales management experience, preferably within a retail and/or commission sales environment.
• 4+ years experience in sales. Excellent knowledge of retail selling skills and strong sales ability.
• Experience in recruiting and supervising a sales team.
• Skilled and knowledgeable in corrective action procedures.
• Computer experience required. Ability to use Windows applications and/or POS systems is required.
• Ability to work 45+ hours per week if necessary.
• High school diploma or GED required. Additional education or training is preferred.
