Title: Senior Programmer Analyst

Description:


The Senior Programmer Analyst provides a lead role in the design, development and support of technology solutions to support Select Comfort business processes focused on Oracle EBS modules including Manufacturing, Procurement, Supply Chain, CRM, Order Management, Financials, and HRMS. Experience with custom and package technical applications are highly desirable with skills in, but not limited to, Oracle, Visual Basic, SQL Server, and EDI.

Major Responsibilities Include:

  • Works closely with end users in the identification and documentation of business requirements and potential application solutions to help the user meet those requirements.
  • Develops detailed system design specifications to serve as a guide for system/program development.
  • Code, test, debug, and document more complex programs, and enhance existing programs to ensure that data processing production systems continue to meet user needs.
  • Provides guidance and training to less-experienced programmers in order to improve productivity.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves complex production issues.

 Title: Oracle/Siebel Functional Analyst

Description:


The Oracle/Siebel functional Analyst will work with IS project teams and the business unit to help gather business requirements to aid in the design and development of software applications. Develops detailed business user requirements, system documentation, workflow procedures, and data modeling. The Senior Business Analyst is also responsible for understanding the business objectives and processes, translating this information in the development of reports, rules and applications, and identifying system issues and resolving these issues, and creating test plans on an on-going basis during the creation of the applications.

Major Responsibilities Include:

     
  • Provide functional expertise in areas of Oracle E-Business Suite Applications (CRM, Oracle Sales, Order Management, Oracle Marketing) and/or Siebel CRM.
  • Understands business processes and current systems. Understands the needs of the business and recommends enhancements through the application of technologies, systems, and process changes to solve problems or enhance business processes.
  • Manages small to medium IT projects, including status reporting, project planning, and other project documentation.
  • Perform as an IT liaison to the business unit. Actively resolve issues affecting the business unit, and assist in coordinating training and communication to the business unit.

Title: Information Security Analyst III

Major Responsibilities Include: 

  • Monitor key systems daily for evidence of compromise and will coordinate and lead forensic examinations of affected systems.
  • Interface with technical operations and development teams to explain requirements and assist in developing proper security standards and practices.
  • Assist in the administration of some core security applications.
  • Effectively lead and conduct information security reviews and assessments of technical, managerial, and operational functions at various corporate and retail locations.
  • Identify and evaluate information security risks within a business partnership and communicate findings.
  • Provides security consulting and project management services on highly complex information security projects and issues.
  • Identifies regulatory changes that will affect information security policy, standards, and procedures and recommends appropriate changes.

 Title: Senior SQL Server Database Administrator

Description:


The Sr. Database Administrator maintains all enterprise databases to ensure integrity, performance, accessibility and recoverability of data.  Conducts end-to-end plan design, controls production, and implements and monitors database systems.  Primary focus for this individual will be for the support of the Microsoft SQL Server database environements.

Major Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide leadership role in planning, design, implementation and documentation of Select Comfort's Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005 environments.  Develops database architectures that incorporate features on SQL Server.
  • Develops maintenance and backup procedures, change control processes, and operational documentation.
  • Assists application development teams in working with databases, planning and implementing production changes, and assisting with query optimization.
  • Implements and performs capacity planning, performance monitoring and reporting processes.
  • Performs ongoing performance tuning and optimization activities.
  • Provide mentoring to other team members.

Requirements:

  • Database administration principals and best practices.
  • Must have 5+ years experience working with large SQL Server databases including Data Warehouses.
  • Must have experience with replication and Data Transformation Services.
  • Experience with SQL server version upgrades preferred, especially 2000 to 2005 ot 2008.
  • Because Select Comfort is a multi-platform environment, experience with Oracle 9I and/or 10g database application administration would be a plus.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent required.
