Title: Senior Programmer Analyst - Oracle

Description:
 

The Senior Programmer Analyst - Oracle provides a lead role in the design, development and support of technology solutions to support Select Comfort business processes focused on Oracle EBS modules including CRM (Sales Online, Field Service), MRP, WIP, Flow Manufacturing, BOM, Supply Chain (OM, WSH).  Experience with custom and package technical applications are highly desirable with skills in, but not limited to, PL SQL Server, Forms, Forms Personalization, Reports, Unix, and Shell Scripts.

Major Responsibilities Include:

  • Works closely with end users in the identification and documentation of business requirements and potential application solutions to help the user meet those requirements.
  • Develops detailed system design specifications to serve as a guide for system/program development.
  • Code, test, debug, and document more complex programs, and enhance existing programs to ensure that data processing production systems continue to meet user needs.
  • Provides guidance and training to less-experienced programmers in order to improve productivity.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves complex production issues.

Requirements:

  • 8 to 10 years of experience in the IT industry.
  • 8 to 10 years Oracle programming experience.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent required.
  • Expertise in two or more of the following functional areas:  CRM (Sales Online, Field Service), MRP, WIP, Flow Manufacturing, BOM, Supply Chain (OM, WSH).
  • Experience with Business Intelligence desirable.
  • Extensive experience in Oracle11i; Siebel and/or Oracle R12 experience is desirable.
  • Experience in using SQL data bases (SQL Server, Oracle).
  • Client/Server experience preferred.
  • Development experience in Forms, Forms Personalization, Reports, SQL, PL/SQL, and Workflow; Unix, Shell scripts, XML highly desirable.
  • Other preferred experience includes: OAF, BPEL, SOA, EDI, Ecommerce Gateway, BI Publisher, and Email Center.
  • Prefer experience, training or knowledge of various software development methodologies.
  • Requires technical and management skills appropriate to the position.
  • Requires strong oral and written communication required.
  • Must be a creative problem solver, flexible, proactive, and work in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize work, meet deadlines, and work independently.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and activities in a timely, organized manner.
  • Minimal travel. Extended weekend and evening work may be required for production support, during implementations and to meet project deadlines.

Title: Senior Business Systems Analyst - Oracle

Description: 

The Senior Business Systems Analyst will work with IS project teams and the business unit to help gather business requirements to aid in the design and development of software applications.  Develops detailed business user requirements, system documentation, workflow procedures, and data modeling.  Also responsible for understanding the business objectives and processes, translating this information in the development of reports, rules and applications, and identifying system issues and resolving these issues, and creating test plans on an on-going basis during the creation of the applications.

Major Responsibilities Include:

  • Understands business processes and current systems.  Understands the needs of the business and recommends enhancements through the application of technologies, systems, and process changes to solve problems or enhance business processes.
  • Manages small to medium IT projects, including status reporting, project planning, and other project documentation.
  • Perform as an IT liaison to the business unit.  Actively resolve issues affecting the business unit, and assist in coordinating training and communication to the business unit.
  • Develops process documentation using corporate process techniques.
  • Performs analysis and evaluation of options, alternatives, and system capabilities.
  • Identifies process and systems solutions to address major systems needs.

Requirements: 

  • Expertise in job specific processes (5-8 years).
  • Program management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree  or equivalent experience required; Masters Degree preferred.
  • Other specialized skills, abilities, working conditions (Computer, interpersonal, analytical, willingness to travel, lifting, etc).
  • Good PC skills.
  • Requires strong oral and written communication required.
